History

Vector Construction specializes in commercial build-outs and ground up construction, with many of our clients in the restaurant and retail industries. From our beginnings in shared office space in Chagrin Falls over 30 years ago, we’ve grown to become one of the leading retail construction businesses in Northeast Ohio.


Vector Construction was established in 1990. Early projects include work with the Firestone building in Akron, OH, and various projects in the Great Lakes, Great Northern, Randall Park, Richmond and Summit Malls. Vector Construction moved to our current location complete with offices, warehousing and loading docks, in 2019.


Vector Construction’s experience is not limited to retail construction. We have completed numerous other projects including office renovations, light industrial, medical/dental, and automotive service. We know what drives the deals for developers and shopping center owners and can assist our clients in managing budgets, reading and interpreting work letters, writing work orders, and offering guidance on site evaluation, among other retail construction services. Our team can also evaluate the financial feasibility of your plans based on costs, projected rents, etc., and help guide your business decisions all while sticking to a schedule and meeting deadlines.

Vector Construction provides turn-key Construction Management, Design/Build, General Contracting and Owners’ Representation Services for retail property owners, tenants, and developers in the United States. 


We partner with top-name architects, developers, and retailers to create functionally appropriate, on-budget spaces, whether you are retrofitting an existing property or building from the ground up. Our team has the experience you need to catch costly mistakes on paper, before walls are built and lights are turned on.


  • Architects: Our relationships with leading architects ensure a smooth project with limited change orders, and that what was drawn is what will actually be built without substitution or changes along the way. We carefully review all drawings prior to starting construction, addressing questions or problems early in the process. 


  • Owners: We understand that time is money, and that delays can derail an entire project. We work with owners and tenants who are the end user, and also with shopping center developers who want their tenants and ownership staff to be happy.
